EP128 DIY Outdoor Bar

This DIY Outdoor Bar features a poured in place concrete countertop and wood shelves made out of Cumaru. For more information go to HomeMade-Modern.com

This DIY outdoor bar with concrete countertops was made out of 2" x 1/8" steel angels that were welded together. We used Quickrete countertop mix to make the poured-in-place countertops. The lower shelves are made out of a tropical hardwood called Cumaru. I bought these 1" x 5½" Cumaru deck boards from Advantage Lumber. This wood is very dense and naturally resists the elements. 8-foot long boards cost me about $25 each which made this table relatively inexpensive for a table made out of solid hardwood.
