EP140 DIY Bent Plywood Lounge Chair

For this bent plywood lounge chair project I wanted to show that it is possible to use inexpensive materials and basic hand-held tools to make cured and high-end looking furniture. I got the plywood from Home Depot and used a technique called kerf bending to make it more flexible. This bent lamination plywood lounge chair was done to kick off the next challenge, the #RocklerBentWoodChallenge that we are hosting on our Modern Maker podcast. I highly recommend using the JUMPROPE app for making videos to enter in the challenge. You can use short clips and photos from your photo to then export seamless videos with captions for posting on Instagram and YouTube.
