What Inspires Me: Shamballa Permaculture

meMade Modern Ben's Blog What Inspires Me: Shamballa Permaculture

If you're ever interested in camping and learning about life on a sustainably minded farm, you should check out my brother's place in Argentina. He has guesthouses and campgrounds where visitors from around the world come to learn about everything from organic gardening and permaculture to cob construction and adobe building techniques. It's one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've been to. I spend my time there building with adobe bricks, swimming in a stone river canyon, horseback riding and cooking pizzas in Nate's Dragon oven. Nate and Andrea make most of the things they own and are wonderful people to spend time with.

Check out their website for more info and enjoy some photos of his ranch:

In Japanese garden philosophy, rocks hold profound symbolic and aesthetic significance, embodying natural beauty, balance, and a sense of timelessness. The arrangement, selection, and placement of rocks are rooted in Zen principles, Shinto beliefs, and Taoist influences, aiming to evoke tranquillity, harmony, and a deep connection to nature. #waterfeature #garden #gardendesign #gardenideas #symmetry #calm #water #reflections #ai #rocksLee Ufan Museum, Naoshima Japan – Tadao Ando – Iwan Baan
