The things I don’t make.

I don’t buy many things, but when I do, they're things that will last a long time and never go out of style.

Crawford Adjustable Folding Steel Sawhorses are incredibly useful and versatile objects. I bought four of them in college – more than 8 years ago – and they're still serving me well today.



I've used them with an old door as a desk for my first start up company, with several 2x12s to make a super-sized 12 foot long picnic table and to make the fold up home office in episode 24. I also use them as sawhorses in my workshop.

They're adjustable in height and have screw holes so you can securely attach wooden tops to them. They fold up quite small and are easy to store and carry. They would be an excellent camping, glamping or tailgating option for a portable picnic table. There are cheaper options made from thinner gauge steel, but when you factor in that these sawhorses will last a lifetime if properly cared for, it's worth the investment.
